Covid-19 and the effects it has had on Dillon County SC. How to deal with this pandemic within the community.
In this story, you will hear how a small town called Dillon County has been impacted by a virus called Covid-19. In this story, I will be discussing how in February 2020 the world was infected with this incurable virus. This virus has changed the way this community works, Communicate, and socialize. Now being forced to alter day-to-day activities like work, and education both parents and children have found this to be a complicated task. Nevertheless, the people within this community like Christopher Taylor II who says, “prayer and hope as long as we stay focused on that and practice social distancing we will be OK.” We speak with Christopher E. Taylor II on how it has changed in the community of Dillon County from 6 months ago and how he has endured this pandemic. CDC states that there have been 200 new cases in the last week than when the virus first surfaced. It has been directed at the fact that most people aren’t wearing masks or practicing social distancing. The big question with this community is when will society go back to normal? The only thing we can do as a community and keep safe is to stay home as much as possible, wash your hands consistently, and wear a mask. Remembering the times we could just wake up go outside and play seems like such a long time ago, but Dillon County refuses to let something like a little old Pandemic stop them from living. Well, Taylor states, As a parent, we must remember to keep awareness and adjust accordingly. Dillon County has been enduring this pandemic well according to Taylor considering the circumstances.
